Monroe pastry students compete in US competition.
The competition has awarded the US Pastry Chef of the Year for the last decade and this is the first year that there is a school division and title “Junior Pastry Chef of the Year.” Monroe Professor Chef Ebow Dadzie is a previous winner of the professional competition. This year’s theme is “Women” and the students will be required to produce a sugar and chocolate centerpiece, petite fours, and a plated dessert integrating the theme.
